The JCSA Communications Coordinator, Fr. Vernard Antony, undertook a series of visits in August 2025 to meet with the media teams established in the common houses. These media teams have been set up in Satya Nilayam (Chennai), DNC (Pune), and Vidya Jyoti (Delhi) with the aim of encouraging scholastics to actively engage in media activities within their respective communities. This year he met the Vidya Jyoti Media Team on 07 th August, the Satya Nilayam Media Team on 11 th August and the DNC-Pune Media Team on 26 th August this year.

The purpose of these visits was to strengthen the role of the media teams, explore opportunities for media training to enhance skills in presentation, and support the scholastics in developing as effective communicators during their formation. The initiative also seeks to discover and nurture the talents of the scholastics in the field of media, while formulating key plans for the academic year.

The scholastics were reminded of their role as contributors not only to their communities and provinces but also to the wider conference. Their notable contributions during the Ignatian Month 2025 celebrations were acknowledged and appreciated.

Through these meetings, the coordinator emphasized the importance of communication in Jesuit formation and encouraged the scholastics to continue their active involvement in media-related activities. The visits highlighted the commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and
effective communication skills among the scholastics across the common houses.
