Fr Ryan Savio Rodrigues, SJ (KAR) and Fr Martin Gnanaprakasam, SJ (AND) pronounced their Final Vows on 16 June 2026 during the community Mass in the house chapel of Jesuitenkolleg, Innsbruck. The President of the Jesuit Conference of South Asia and their Major Superior, Rev Fr Jerome Stanislaus D’Souza, SJ (KAR), received the vows on behalf of Fr General. In his homily, Fr Stany exhorted them to cultivate rich inner and outer resources, becoming radical signs of humility and availability as the Society affirms and keeps before all of us the demands of our vocation in and through the patience and persistence of our life-mission. Our coworkers and a few neighbours added joy to the celebration with their presence. We pray that these our brothers, through their final commitment, continue to remain close to the poor and close to the Church through the mission of the Society they are called to serve.
