AICUF Karnataka State Convention 2024

The AICUF Karnataka State Convention held on 16 November 2024 at St Joseph’s College of Law, Bengaluru. With the inspiring theme, “Marching Together in Reconciliation and Peace,” the event brought together 500 vibrant AICUFers from across the state, uniting hearts and minds in the spirit of transformation and solidarity. The AICUF Karnataka State Convention was a day of inspiration, learning, and fellowship. The event began with registration and distribution of convention kits, followed by an icebreaker session featuring action songs, spot games, and group activities to introduce the theme and goals.

 

The inaugural ceremony included a welcome dance, lighting of the lamp, and speeches by Dr Fr Maxim Dias SJ, Mr Cyril Prabhu, and Dr Fr Daniel Fernandes SJ. The keynote address by Ms Bhavya Narasimhamurthy on youth leadership and transformational change set the tone for the sessions that followed.

 

Workshops led by esteemed speakers, including Dr Fr Jesu Benjamine SJ, Ms Rakshitha, Ms Rohini Rajasekaran, and Fr Denzil Fernandes SJ, covered critical topics such as leadership, constitutional awareness, gender equality, election awareness, and reconciliation. Engaging discussions and Q&A sessions enriched the participants’ experience.

 

The afternoon featured a panel discussion with senior AICUFers on reconciliation and peace, moderated by Mr Thomas Alexander, and unit-wise group discussions to formulate action plans. The day concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, unit pictures, and the AICUF Anthem, leaving participants inspired to carry the mission forward.

 

It was a day of meaningful discussions, impactful sessions, and joyful fellowship, reminding us of our commitment to justice, peace, and reconciliation.
