The KJES Youth Ministry organized a one-day Youth Animation Programme at Ashirvad, Bengaluru on 03 May 2025, bringing together 35 Jesuit scholastics preparing for their regency across the South Zone provinces. The event aimed to deepen their understanding of the realities faced by young people today and to strengthen their mission of walking alongside youth with empathy, patience, and courage.

Viola Lewis, a dedicated youth animator, who gave a heartfelt reflection on the mindset of young Catholics today. She spoke openly about their hopes, struggles, and relationship with the Church and the Society of Jesus. Her honest and personal sharing left a strong impact on the audience, who appreciated her straightforward approach. Ms Maryanne, a counsellor, led a session on youth psychology. She provided valuable insights into how young people process emotions, handle stress, and relate to their surroundings. Her accessible and professional approach helped the regents better understand the psychological aspects of youth ministry.

The programme also included an interactive session featuring action songs and ice-breaking techniques, bringing energy, joy, and spontaneity to the day. Participants enjoyed the lively atmosphere, which helped build connections and a sense of community. The regents left feeling confident, motivated, and better prepared to serve youth in their future ministries. The programme reaffirmed the Jesuit commitment to listening to, learning from, and accompanying young people walking with them with empathy, hope, and courage.
