AICUF 100: Centenary Celebrations Inauguration

The AICUF (All India Catholic University Federation) Centenary Celebrations Inauguration was a landmark event, drawing over 300 AICUF members, Senior AICUF members, Animators and Advisors from across India at St Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, the birthplace of AICUF. The event spanned from 24 May 2024 to 27 May 2024, marking a significant milestone in AICUF’s history.

Representatives from various states like Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh,

Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and West Bengal participated

enthusiastically. The celebrations offered a rich tapestry of experiences, allowing AICUF members to deepen their understanding of diverse cultures, hone their leadership skills, and strengthen their commitment to social service and personal growth.

On the special occasion of the AICUF Centenary Celebrations, the official anthem of AICUF

was released on 24 May 2024 by Fr Stanislaus D’Souza SJ, President, Jesuit Conference of South Asia at St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapapali. This powerful anthem captures the spirit and mission of the All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF), celebrating our unity, faith, and commitment to social justice. This inspiring anthem unites us all in our journey of service and solidarity, and will be a source of motivation and pride for every AICUF members.

The program featured a series of informative sessions addressing a range of topics such as

spiritual, political, sociological, ecological, and economic issues. AICUF has long served as a platform for young people to overcome fear, advocate for change, and promote unity among youth from various backgrounds. The centenary celebrations reinforced this mission, inspiring participants to continue their journey of growth and service.
