Fr Henry Pattarumadathil, SJ, new Provincial of Kerala

Fr General of the Society of Jesus has appointed Fr Henry Pattarumadathil, SJ as the next Provincial of Kerala Province. Fr Henry is the Professor of Bible in the Biblicum, Rome. Fr Henry hails from Ernakulam and belongs to the Archdiocese of Varapoly. He was born on 5 March 1964 and was ordained on 30.12.1995. After his licentiate and Doctorate from Biblicum he taught at the RTC of Kerala Province and later on became Professor of Bible and Dean of the Biblicum. He is also a member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission. He will return to the Province by the third week of June 2025 and then plan a date to take charge.
